Italian made Gaggia espresso machines are one of the most well made and sought after espresso makers in the market. Having one of them as a part of your kitchen will make coffee making and drinking the highlight of your day. Gaggia espresso machines deliver superbly rich, creamy coffee drinks every time – and it will not cost you a lot.
Despite being in the smaller budget range, a Gaggia has the ability to extract the best out of the coffee grinds and create a rich crema on top – a perfect espresso, indeed! Now you don’t need to run to a cafe for a cup.
The best thing about these espresso machines is that they are easy to use. So, if you’re an espresso machine virgin, don’t worry! Gaggia espresso machines are made for both professional and amateur home barista.
Gaggia Classic – Best Gaggia Espresso Machine
The timeless Gaggia Classic 14101 will definitely class up your kitchen-top at an estimated $500. And unlike most home use coffee makers, the Gaggia Classic is made from good quality material that is adaptable with the temperature changes to avoid any premature erosion, especially the milk steamer.
The controls for this Gaggia Classic is simple which makes it easy for newbies to handle. You may need to experiment on the right grind and tamp for your coffee beans though! One of its best features is the three-way solenoid valve; it lets me make the next shot almost immediately. The Gaggia Classic also heats up faster than my Rancilio!
Gaggia Syncrony Compact Digital 9004
Gaggia Syncrony 9004 is one machine I would recommend those with a tight budget but wants a super automatic. With a push of a button, it grinds and brew the coffee and dispense the used grind in a container. All these are done in a matter of minutes. How great is that? It has a double boiler to save time between brewing and steaming, but the body of the machine is mostly plastic, as you can see from the photo it doesn’t look as attractive as the Gaggia Classic.
Gaggia 90951 Platinum Vision Automatic Espresso Machine
The best thing about this Gaggia espresso coffee machine is that it allows you to choose the strength of your espresso other than the type of coffee drinks that you want. Both adjustments (and many others!) can be set on the touch screen control bar. You can always be sure that the machine will extract the espresso at its best with its 15-bar pump! The milk island froths the milk nicely. It comes out smooth and creamy – perfect with any types of coffee from latte to mocha.
